CONCRETE AND ABSTRACT NOUNS
Concrete Noun - A concrete noun names a thing that can be seen, heard, smelled, touched, or tastsed.
Abstract Noun - An abstract noun names an idea, feeling, quality, or characteristic.
Examples: sunlight, explosion, grass, desk, car, and house
Examples: happiness, anger, courage, excitement, trust, and honesty.
*Every noun is either common or proper and also either concrete or abstract. For example, teacher is common and concrete. Mrs. Munsterman is proper and concrete.
